Customer Reviews
This album is pure heaven, you won't want it to end.
I first fell in love with John Barry's music when at 18, I saw the film 'Somewhere in Time', I got hooked on the style of music and bought 'Raise the Titanic'. These are two of the most beautiful soundtracks you are ever likely to own, but within this album you will find the unmistakable sound that is John Barry, wrapped up in a soundtrack for a film that is in your own imagination. It caresses and whispers to you and releases every beautiful emotion you've ever had and puts it to music. It is just under an hour long but as soon as it's over, you will want to play it again.
JOHN BARRY; THE BEYONDNESS OF THINGS
Excellent - John Barry at his best and added to this is superb production making this album very good listening. Thouroughly recommended.
One of the most beautiful recordings of all time
An achingly beatiful album," The Beyondness Of Things" captures John Barry at his most inspired. The ability to construct spine tingling melodies that can cause your hairs to rise is the preserve of the few. John Barry is one of them. A sonic alchemist!
