Customer Reviews

The best CD I have ever bought!5
This is an excellent soundtrack. When I played the game, I thought the music was brilliant, and just had to buy the soundtrack. It was also reccomended by several friends, so I really had to buy it! It seems expensive, but it is definatly worth it! The game alone took millions of pounds to make, and every penny of it shows on the screen. The soundtrack reflects this quality. It comes in a glossy cardboard box covered with scenes from the game, and with a thick paper booklet with the words to Eyes On Me and Liberi Fatali. It contains beautiful pictures from the game, and a sticker sheet with Laguna and Squall, and the romantic Squall and Rinoa CG. The whole presentation of it makes you feel you've got your money's worth. Nobuo Uematsu is the top games music composer, and it certainly shows in this masterpiece. I look forward to the Final Fantasy X game and soundtrack, which will doubtlessly be even more stunning than the last two.

Breath taking5
If you are a fan of the game you will love this soundtrack, if not it is still fantastic. As a great fan of the game this was a must have with over 4 hours of music witch bought all the magic of Final Fantasy VIII flooding back. Although the in game music is is not as good as Final Fantasy VII its not far off and you can't help but love the tile song.BUY IT

Excellent soundtrack5
What can I say? Four CDs full of the magnificent music from the game.

There are seventy four tracks in total - and only one which I am not fond of ("Residents"). Great tracks like "Maybe I'm a Lion", "Liberi Fatali", "Find Your Way" and of course "Eyes On Me" are all included on this soundtrack, and will keep you listening for hours.

I listen to this collection daily, and I don't seem to be growing bored of it. There are so many tracks that you will be spoilt for choice.

The CDs come in a nice box which has some screenshots from various FMVs, a sticker sheet is included and there is a little booklet that features: listings of all the tracks, words to "Eyes On Me" and "Liberi Fatali", an interview with the man himself, Nobuo Uematsu (even so, it is in Japanese) and even more FMV pictures.

Highly recommended.
