Amazon.co.uk Review
Try to stop the monkeys drop, but just one fumble and watch them tumble!A great game of skill, tactics and chance, you will love trying to prevent these cute little primates from plummeting.
After assembling the palm tree tower complete with desert island base, place the 30 sticks, which come in three colours, into the holes in the tree trunk. The sticks should form precarious layers and when the 30 monkeys with their long, curled tails are dropped in the top they'll hook on--for a while!
Players must throw a dice and slowly remove the sticks--trying to ensure that they don't disturb the chimps. The player who has dropped the least number of chimps at the end of the game is the winner.
A sure-fire winner for family fun. --Rachel Ediss
Manufacturer's Description
This game of skill will drive you bananas. Drop the monkeys through the hole in the top of the clear plastic "tree" after placing sticks of each colour through all the holes. Each player rolls the coloured die and pulls out a stick of the same colour. It's important to choose carefully, because you keep the monkeys that fall through the tree when you remove your stick. The player with the least number of plastic monkey pieces wins the game.
For 2 to 4 players.

Monkey-ing Around
Tumbling Monkeys is remeniscent of the game "Kerplunk" but with the added twist that the falling monkeys cling onto the straws. This gives you an extra chance of not collecting too many monkeys at the bottom of the tree as you pull out a straw from the top, and hopefully therefore winning the game. The whole family (from age 6 to age 70!) enjoyed this game immensely; infact it becomes quite compulsory to have a game before bedtime! It is a simple game, made in bright, exciting colours which is easy to construct, so children from around age 5 upwards can play it without adults - if they get the chance, that is!
Tumbling monkeys game
very disappointed with the quality of this product, the educational value is very good but the build quality very poor. The individual plastic pieces are very flimsy and fit together poorly, if it wasnt for my daughter enjoying this game so much would have returned it, even the box fell apart!
Kerplunk with Monkeys
This is a great game. It's Kerplunk with monkeys. The monkeys don't fall as easily as marbles because of their hooked tails. They usually just fall to the next layer of sticks.
You get a dice with coloured sides which correspond to the different coloured sticks. You have to take a stick which is the same colour as your dice throw. It is really entertaining and an improvement on the original design of Kerplunk.
It is a fiddly game to set up. The tower snaps together in 2 upright halves which is too difficult for my children to construct. The tower clips onto the base and then the green leaves clip on the top. It does take some time to set up all the sticks too but it is worth the effort.
Four stars for construction and durability but five star fun.
Highly recommended and a better buy than Kerplunk.
