Editorial Reviews

Amazon.co.uk Review
The latest Jerry Bruckheimer production focuses on five 20-something women working their way through life at a fashionable bar in New York City. Four new LeAnn Rimes tracks highlight this collection. Though all from the pen of veteran songwriter Diane Warren, the tracks vary in style from diva pop ("Can't Fight the Moonlight") to sentimental musings ("Please Remember"). It is only a matter of time before Rimes leaves country music completely behind for the sleek modern world of mainstream pop. The remaining songs are a hotchpotch of different eras. EMF's "Unbelievable" and Snap's "The Power" hark back to the early 1990s, while Don Henley and INXS deliver the dancebeat kick of the 1980s. The firing fiddle of the Charlie Daniels Band's 1979 hit "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" seems out of context here. But then, this bar must have one odd jukebox to begin with. --Rob O'Connor

Customer Reviews

I can't get Coyote Ugly out of my mind, It was Wonderful!!!!5
When I first saw the trailer, I was not impressed. It was not high on my priority list of "To See" movies. I passed the first time around, then my teenaged niece (17) told me to watch it because she thought I would like it, I thought what to heck. I watched, I laughed, I was entranced, I fell in love with the entire cast. It was one of the best movies I have seen in quite a while. I had to go out and buy the sound track the next day, and am still playing it. I suggested the song, "Please Remember" as a present for my niece to give to her underclassmates on her basketball team. The words express all the feelings and emotions they are going through as juniors and seniors all going their separate ways after graduation. I will get the video to keep in my library, and I do not buy many, only the movies I feel really deal with life and love and people. Thanks for giving us this gift of great entertainment.

makes you want to sing along5
This Cd seams alittle disapoining at first as some whould like diffrent songs from the video. but the more you play it the more you just love it. The songs all come with an indiction which makes you want to sing and play them time and time again, If you buy this then you will not listen to anything else. Track 9 is never off my player and i always feel that each song means something diffrent. I give it a 5 i just hope that there is a Coyote Ugly 2 soundtrack for the rest of the songs on the video. I will be the first to buy it. This CD holds music for all diffrent tastes. Young and Old, I just wish my daughter would stop robbing it and taking it to her room.

Stunning....5
A GREAT film, and an even better sountrack, especially the main track, Leann Rimes is outstanding, i don't think it could be any better.Buy the soundtrack, but first see the film, to really enjoy the songs. A corker....
