Great to use and look at!!
If you're looking for a new mouse then look no further. I've just received this and had to write to say how much I love it!

Firstly and most importantly, the performance is flawless - it glides alone all the surfaces I've tried it on, including a brown shiny desk and have had a perfect response. And of course being an optical mouse, there's no ball to get clogged up and make the mouse stutter.

As for its looks, not only does it look incredibly stylish from the top (well I think so anyway!), but what the pictures of it don't show is that you can see the red laser glow from the side and underneath the mouse (it gets brighter when the mouse moves) - this just looks SO COOL!!

Its shape may not be very innovative but I think it's designed well as it sits perfectly in your hand in a very comfortable position.

The software and driver is very easy to install and I had no problems at all. It lets you fully customise the wheel, buttons etc as you'd expect.

Ok I know it's not the cheapest mouse and it's not cordless, but my advice is - great value for money for those wanting both style and performance - get one!

Gimmick-free, sturdy and cheap!
I've had this mouse for at least one and a half years and it only broke today. Having tried to find a wireless alternative before now, I'm very confident when I say that this is one of if not THE best mouse on the market today, particularly for gamers. I've tried Logitech and Microsoft's high-end alternatives and many others besides: they have their fancy gimmicks and buttons, but when it comes to the punch they all fall flat on reliability when compared to this absolute gem.

It's not designed in an ergonomic style but still fits very comfortably in your hand -- as it has for many a long session of intense Unreal Tournament. The scroll wheel clicks as it goes round (today's smooth scrolling wheels are entirely useless for gaming), and clicking the wheel down works 100% of the time, which can't be said for tilt wheels.

The tracking is flawless, so long as you don't try it over a surface with too many sharp colour transitions, the wire is long enough for most setups, and there's no required software to bog down your system. On top of all that you already know how long the thing lasted and how little it costs. :-)

If Logitech made a wireless version of this mouse, I'd buy it as my replacement without hesitation.

I purchased a new one without thinking twice, a very good mouse, I would always buy Logitech..
