Really swinging CQ soundtrack!
Those French really know how to do kitsch 60's music well! Parisian band Mellow (friends of other French musical superstars Air) supply this excellent soundtrack for Roman Coppola's movie CQ. This lush and breezy score features mainly original music by Mellow and some 60's French pop classics such as Le Responsable by Jacques Dutronc. Elements of Barbarella and Burt Bacharach flow through this groovy soundtrack, fans of Air and easy listening should check this out!

Diluted noodling
It's a proper soundtrack, i.e. designed to accompany a film. This means it's not very interesting on its own, comprising almost entirely instrumental 'loungecore' - the tedious kitsch Camden Town bohemia pretended to like in the mid-1990s. Give this a miss and go straight to Mellow's 'Perfect Colors', which does full justice to Mellow and is much more likely to reward your curiosity.
