Manufacturer's Description
Join those zany masters of mirth as they quest to save an old lady and her three beautiful daughters from the clutches of an evil banker! With 30 days to collect $5,000 smackers, the Stooges will have to work together to save the orphans through pie throwing, prizefighting, and medical madness, all performed in classic Stooges style.

For the Digitally Remastered series, players can expect the same classic gameplay of the originals, but featuring enhanced graphics and sounds effects that take advantage of today's technology. Players can also expect never-before-seen screens and material that were cut from the original titles. Although enhanced, both graphics and sound remain true to the style of the original products.

Customer Reviews

A great trip back to the 8 bit era5
Cinemaware, a legendary software house during the 80s, created several groundbreaking games for the 8bit and 16bit computers. The first was Defender of the Crown and The 3 Stooges was their 3rd creation. The previous one, was Sinbad and the throne of the Falcon)

After all those years, Cinemaware is reborn and the company has decided to republish its old masterpieces. The 3 Stooges is the second game in the "Digitally Remastered Series".

The graphics and sound are true to their original game, albeit enhanced for our modern pcs. The gameplay and fun, remains the same.

The game is divided into many minisections, comprised of the most famous game types (arcade, racing, fighting, trivia)

Although this game was not a favourite of mine back in the 80s, I have merely judged it based on the improvements it has over the original one. Its a great work of art!

Furthermore, the CD contains "image" files of the original game which can be played on emulators, as well as windows themes!

I just cant wait to get hold of their new releases! Thank you Cinemaware!
