Heart but no extras leads to disappointment3
One of the best imports of the 90's, Due South offered a regular dose of humour and action mixed together that kept viewers coming back time and time again. The main difference between Due South and the norm is this show had heart. No where more is this shown than in the Victoria's Secrets Episodes that close out the season.

The box set itself is disappointing with no special features (audio not withstanding) and the absence of the Pilot Episode. It almost seems like the box set has been released as a mere after thought, rather than as a tribute to the series. This will simply mean that only previous fans of the series will look to it, rather than opening up a whole new fan base as so many other box sets have done.

a good buy4
I am happy with this dvd. I love Due South and jumped at the chance to buythis region 1 dvd. Even though it is region 1 it plays on my UK Bush dvdplayer which is great!
I am a bit disappointed that the pilot episode is not included, and it isquite annoying that you have to change the disc over every four episodes. Also the quality is not great, but to be honest I am just pleased to havethe whole first series of Due South on dvd as it is not available in theUK.
Dilvery was by DVDLegacy and took a lot longer than it said it would. Letshope Due South is released as a region 2 dvd in the UK soon.
Overall Due South fans should by this dvd just to have the series on dvdformat rather than vhs as vhs is phasing out.

Fantastic series, less than average DVDs4
An absolutely fantastic series, which is marred by it's lacklustre transition onto DVD. The packaging is less than useless, and the DVDs themselves are dual-sided. (An unforgivable crime in my opinion) A selection of episodes on one side, and more on the other. So no printed DVDs for us!

This is definately a dvd collection created with the lowest possible production values. The episodes are all fantastic, but don't expect printed discs or any extras whatsoever.
