Great debut from a young girl band.
I was really surprised when I first played this album. Because of their ages and because I hadn't heard anything by them before - I bought the album based purely on reviews on Amazon - I didn't really know what to expect.
Their style is similar to Avril Lavigne - kind of pop/rock. In my opinion though, Lillix have produced an album of a better quality than Avril - for some reason I feel that it will be their album that I listen to longer than Avril's.
The only thing I will say against this album (and it's the reason why it didn't get 5 stars from me), is that it is quite clear that the girls have a fair way to go before they achieve really unforgettable, intelligent songs. It is quite abvious that they are still young adults, there is a certain naivety to their music. It will be interesting to see how they develop as a band though.
Brilliant Album!
Lillix are pretty much unknown in the UK, and it was only by researching who sang the 'What i like about you' theme tune that i came across them! This album is pop/rock that is less angsty than avril but more rock than tuuli.
A lot of clever songs about all the kinds of situations faced by teens today- and a lot of clever lyrics make this album brilliant!

I heard the song 'what I like about you' on a tv show and I loved the song I researched it and bought the album, I think it is awesome, I think more people should be aware of these artists.
They are becoming increasingly popular in the states , I hope they do here.
