One Of The Greatest Rock Bands And Their Greatest CD
Yellowcard is a not much heard of rock band and yet in my opinion is one of the best. 'One For The Kids' is a great Cd of theirs to get to just show to you how good they are, as all the songs are brilliant. The tracks which are most to my liking are the opening one 'Struck', 'Something of Value', and 'October Nights'. But the one track that mainly lights up this Cd is 'Rock Star Land' as in this the whole band in every aspect have played their part to perfection.
Just ahead of of 'Ocean Avenue' I regard this Cd as Yellowcard's best. BUY IT NOW WITHOUT SECOND THOUGHTS!

The First Track Is Actually Called STARSTRUCK
Although the first track, STARSTRUCK, is my favourite i have to say that this whole album with its harrowing lines and catchy beats is really fantastic. Yellowcard caught my attention even before Ocean Avenue- With this Punky album. I love it and plan to buy the second album also though i have downloaded it in totallity from cdzlimited.org already as i couldnt wait. Buy This Album You Wont Regret It

If you like ocean avenue, you will love this album.
this album far excels that of the later release Ocean Avenue, and has a much more needed punk aspect and lacks the emo, which somewhat affected there sound on the third album. This is mainly becuase on ocean avenue, they lacked a bassist, after the original bassist had left the band. unfortunatly it seems that yellowcard havnt yet bothered to replace him. It is in this that the bass is entirely what helps make this album far more superior in sound, as it helps make the album that much more whole.

Anyway anough time spent on the sound, time to get down to the tracks themselves. from the off the pace of this album is greatly timed, struck is in an inspirationly track, and sounds great. As we head through the rest of the tracks present on this album, we encounter incredable tracks, from the hardcore A.W.O.L. to the smooth an highly emotional accoustic finisher, of Rough Draft. other stand out tracks include, October Nights, Rock star land and the incredible starting track Struck.

If you have to own a piece of Yellowcard, dont bother with ocean avenue, pick one for the kids, as its without a doubt a far greater album.
