    Brilliant Performance5
OK, for gamers this is a good choice, but I bought it for different purpose. I am into web/graphic designing and have tried many mice from reputable manufacturers, but this I can confidently say is the BEST I have used. FAST (quick movements across high resolution screens) and ACCURATE (no bumps/jaggy lines while using brush/pen tools) like none.

Comes in attractive outlook and praising performance. thouse coming from simple mice, might have a little time to adjust their hands over it, but eventually you'll get use to this wonderful piece of architecture. My hands are longer than average, and this mouse fitted in so perfectly that at least I didnt felt strange even when kept my hands for the first time on it.

for Windows XP users, I'll recommend either downloading the lastet version of mouse drivers (or) if you are unavailable with internet, then turn your system restore ON (assuming if you turn it OFF, like I do). I have used the latest drivers, and so far havent had any problems using it.

    Very much RECOMMENDED mouse.

Arguably the best optical mouse up to this point5
In terms of comfort and performance, no other mouse surpasses the MX 510. I have tried countless other optical mice, including Microsoft's explorer 3.0, and this is the only optical mouse I have found worth using over my ball mouse for games. At an astounding new 5.8 megapixels a second scan rate, it seems almost impossible to make this mouse skip, even at low sensitivities. By the way, it is still an 800dpi mouse, not the 2100dpi that the first review states.

    Best gaming mouse out there5
I'm a hard-core gamer - I play a lot of CS:S and UT2K4 (clan player). This is the most popular mouse with gamers worldwide and if mine broke down (not that it looks at all likely to), I'd buy another one tomorrow. I also own a Dell mouse (from LONG ago), a M$ intellimouse, but they both have 400 dpi rather than the 800 dpi of the mx510. And they suck. Dell is a ball-mouse - this is too inaccurate for games. M$ mouse has 400 dpi (means mouse jumps across pixels and your aim is really bad) and feels too light after long play which further decreases your aim.

The extra buttons are great. It handles IE (or Firefox) navigation perfectly. You can play games all day and your hand won't get tired (unlike the mx1000 by the way, which is too heavy).

A utility called logigamer means you can programme the mouse buttons to work in all games (ie disable the alt-tab like switching of one of the buttons and bind buttons to keys etc.) and have a profile for each game so, once set up, you don't need to mess around at all.

If you're not into games I wouldn't get it - the M$ mice are fine for web-nav and cheaper. Other lower-grade logitech mice are also more than accurate.

Best mouse ever. Can't think what else they could do to be honest - my full backing!
