Manufacturer's Description
"You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon? It's the ship that made the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs."

This is an absolute must have for any Star Wars Fan and is one of the most popular LEGO products ever made! No LEGO Star Wars collection is complete without this awesome model!

The top of the vessel is removeable, so you can see inside and recreate scenes from your favourite movies! Pull out the starboard hatch lid and lower the boarding ramp so your favourite Star wars heroes can get onboard. Put Han in the pilot’s seat to control the moveable gun turret and you’re ready to take off! If Imperial ships close in, just open the port hatch and use the special escape pod.

The model features the all your favourite popular Star Wars Mini-figures, like Chewbacca, C-3PO, Snowtrooper, a new Hoth Han Solo and Princess Leia!

With LEGO Star Wars, you control the action!

He told me he'd fixed it!5
At the current price of £74.99 (24% off) this still isn't cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but hey, it is the fastest heap of junk in the galaxy. Lego has never been value for money but I'm sure most children (and adults) who receive Lego in whatever guise treasure it as a toy. I know I did.

I'm sure most of these models will be bought for 'nephews' and 'my mate's son' but lets be honest, the majority of the people who will buy this, put it together, play with Princess Leia and swap the heads of Chewy and C3PO will be aged over 20, so the large number of pieces (nearly 1000) and fragile nature of the triangular plates will not be an issue.

It's much more detailed than the previous incarnation and faired better than the new x-wing, which appears to be covered in mucus.

Another well-crafted reproduction from the dependable Lego Starwars franchise: a great model penned from an amazing design. If you can afford it - buy it!

WOW, a must buy for any age/collector5
This is probably one of the best lego sets I have ever gotten. This may not be lego's most expensive toy, but I rate it the best mainly because it has the perfect balance of two elements: playability and looks, the lego sandcrawler was an ugly set (a huge brown box resembling a mound of dirt), but it's was fun to play with, while the collector's edition of the x wing was all looks and no play: This has the perfect mix of both. The only problem I have with this set is it's lack of interior detail, but if you think about it, that is the beauty of lego, you can customize the inside, (in my falcon, I modified the cockpit to have two chairs, i put a tv and a washroom in it. The huge unsued space between the cockpit and lowering deck has made for some nifty modifications too, I put a mini kitchen and two bunk beds in this part of the ship.) This is the pride and joy of lego starwars, its only competition probably being the republic gunship (it has been sadly clipped off lego's production line, but if you have a chance I highly recommend you to try and get a used one on amazon.com or atleast look at it on some site). If you are craving for an actual fun set to build and play with, I recommend this one as a top choice.

New and improved5
Actually, this is only the second time Lego have released a Millennium Falcon set, and this is a totally new and redesigned version, based on the ship's appearance in The Empire Strikes Back. It has a better shape than the previous set, and a more detailed interior. Also, the first Lego Falcon was priced at £100 several years ago, so this one actually represents good value! My only word of caution would be that it seems a little complex for a nine-year-old (the suggested minimum age on the box), and I doubt it would stand up to heavy play as it's a little delicate. Probably better for the older Star Wars / Lego fan as a display piece.
