Manufacturer's Description
For anyone who appreciates the benefits of juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, blending their own yoghurt drinks, or making fresh fruit cocktails, a Kenwood Smoothie Maker is a must.

This is a smaller version of the original New York Smoothie Maker first launched in the UK with a 1 litre capacity goblet, a single speed plus pulse, and is the perfect way to help start your day. Blend your choice of fruits for 20 seconds and you'll have a refreshing smoothie drink to perk you up and stave off hunger until lunchtime. By night, experience fresh-tasting, natural fruit smoothie cocktails: invite your friends along for rum and banana smoothies, or slick strawberry vodka smoothies.

Unique features make this machine quick, easy and fun for everyone--children and adults alike. A dispensing tap allows for continuous mixing and easy dispensing and the specially designed goblet funnels all your healthy, fruity ingredients into the blending blades and tap outlet. An ingenious mixing stick designed for use while the machine is in action is the secret to the perfect smoothie, allowing you to add all your ingredients without having to stop and remove the lid to stir.

The Kenwood Smoothie Maker includes a recipe booklet suggesting 14 different smoothie drinks and six alcoholic drinks you can make at home, all specially created for this machine.

Healthy Helper5
Very happy with this smoothie maker and have no complaints whatsoever. Great gadget for keeping you healthy. I just throw in my fruit, yoghurt and OJ and out comes an incredibly healthy drink - through the tap - that also manages to taste superb. This is ideal for me as my fruit intake is normally very low. Perhaps some people would prefer a bigger jug to make more juice but that is your personal preference. The good thing about this 1 litre machine though is that it looks better on the kitchen worktop than the larger 1.5 litre smoothie makers.

You can't go wrong with this smoothie machine and it can only improve your overall health (providing you use it of course).

Kenwood Smoothie junior, (silver).5
Before I ordered my smoothie maker I read reveiws which did not do do the item justice, it arrived pretty much complete, and the kids were really excited to try it, it was simple to use so I can leave the older kids to make their own drinks. Its very easy to clean, we thought the silver was better looking than the white version, it is a hit in our house. plan to buy the frothie maker next!

When my smoothie maker arrived (after a very short waiting time) I was expecting to have to put it together, but it came whole! This was slightly handy as im not too great at following instructions but this also was not handy as I couldnt take it apart to clean like the book stated before my first use of it.
Apart from that, I am satisfied with this product. I would recommend it to people like myself wouldnt make smoothies that often but like to know they have something just in case :D
I havnt tried the bits in a dishwasher, but after usage, I take the jug, put some washing up liquid down into the bottom and fill with hot water and let it soak, it seems to work very well!! Oh, and it dosnt really seem to crush ice, so maybe do it before putting it in the smoothie.
All in all, okay!
