Apple Sports Case
I decided to get a case for my Shuffle as I like to wear it in all weather conditions. This case really did make a great first impression when I unpacked it. It is well made with thick plastic and the orange border you can see in the pictures is a rubber seal used to make the case watertight. The fitting tolerances impressed me with everything fitting really snugly together. Aesthetically, the case looks superb in my view, mainly because it gives the Shuffle a more chunky reflective look due to the thick plastic along with with a dash of colour (orange).

The case opens up like a StarTrek communicator. You insert your Shuffle into it, and then close and lock the case using 2 tabs at either side. The case is marked with a green dot on either side which is revealed when the tabs are in the "locked" position.

This case offers admirable protection. I would not recommend you go swimming with this case, but it seems to protect the Shuffle completely from even the worst rain storm I have been out in.

The reason I have voted 4 stars instead of five is that I have concerns with the tabs used to close the case. These look like they could snap if handled very roughly. You also have to open the case to turn the Shuffle on and off, but this is minor and only takes a few seconds.

Overall, I am very happy with it.

My first impression of the iShuffle was that it was a fantastic bit of kit but I had concerns about losing the usb conection covering. As it happens, I've been fortunately proved wrong. But just to be extra sure, I decided to buy the sports case, to truly protect my investment. And I reckon it's just about worth it. Nicely built but it does have one drawback, notably that you have to take it out of the case to switch it on and off. Apple have cleverly designed the case so that the front controls can be used whilst the device is contained, but the rear switch is only accessible out of the case. Does this matter ? Probably not, but at least now you know.

Get a shuffle on, and but this case!!
Got an IPOD Shuffle? If so, you need this case. I had my shuffle for just under a month and after all the sweating I did using it at the gym, I actually rusted the USB port, which resulted in me getting a new one. This case keeps the IPOD Shuffle safe from all the elements, even rust!
