    Really Good5
I like this game. It has a well thought out story mode and there are more challanges for you to take place. The graphics are amazing and sound is good. I agree with alot of people and think that the uber controls arnt very good. Instead of using the r1 r2 l1 l2 use use the right anologe stick to peform special tricks.

you now make your own characters up. This is really good new feature of this game.

If you were like me and ummmmmm and arhhhing about buying this game! DONT you will really enjoy it.

    addictive game!4
The SSX games are my only real foray into PS2 and I love 'em. This game is great value for money - there's loads of events. I'm still not sure whether it's better than SSX3 or not, though. I like the fact that you create your own character and dress him/her, do hair/make up, board or ski. The graphics are great; you have to work up the charts and build up hype by winning events, beating records and catching the camera icons scattered around the courses. There's no DJ talking, which I kind of miss. The soundtrack's really different - I like some heavy metal, but I loved the SSX3 music, and I don't think this is as good. There's a lot more info displayed on screen; how many metres ahead or behind etc you are. The uber tricks are now Monster tricks and are done differently. It's a brilliant game - I think they've tried to outdo SSX3 but I'm not convinced it's better. Love it, though!

An OK game but not as good as SSX 34
As my title suggests I don't think SSX on Tour shaped up to it's predecessor in any way.
However, there are some good qualities about it which weren't on the older games. For example, being able to choose your own character and customise them yourself, instead of playing as one of the given pros.Another being the fact you can now ski or snowboard down the mountain.
Overall I thought it was OK,but I'd recommend you buy SSX 3 instead.
