    being sensible4
I thought I would comment on the single review here, as it gives a misleading impression. This is in fact a very simple piece of kit, very useful in some circumstances. It costs 3 quid and does the single thing it's supposed to. Who cares if it doesn't say 'Belkin' on it? It's not a ferrari!

    Neat solution5
Excellent way to drive 2 outputs from 1 3.5mm socket. Works perfectly and looks good.

Belkin is a name I trust and this has not let me down5
I use this splitter on my computer; one output goes to the computer speakers, the other to an infra-red headphone transmitter for when I don't want to disturb others (piano practice, for example).

The leads are quite short, which I wanted otherwise you end up with metres of cable everywhere.

Build quality is exactly what I expect (and demand) from Belkin and these have not disappointed.

Far better than the £1-a-pair rubbish I once bought (from that auction site) which had cables so thin they eventually snapped.
