If i could give it 4 and a half stars i would....i so would
YOU CAN FIGHT, BUT CAN YOU LEAD?
The opening phrase, on the back of the box, gives the game the typical show of a tactical 3rd person shooter and another rainbow six/Siphon filter type game. Being the 3rd in the SOCOM series (duhhhh,if you didn't know that you must be a complete dullwitt) I have to confess this is my first play of the SOCOM games and I am glad to say it is definitely worth its stars.
The game is based on an anti-terrorist squad who go around the world shooting up terrorists and rescuing hostages, sound familliar??? Of course it does, SOCOM wasn't designed to be the breakthrough 3rd-ps of the decade but it was designed to be a very good game. You use stealth, veicles,weapons,weapon-add-ons and explosives to get the job done and lead the team to victory over those annoying AK-47 totting terrorists. The graphics aren't stunning but should please the uncritical eye and the gameplay is very good and the controls, though bumpy at first become easier and more natural as you go along. Apart from anoyying cracks from your teammates it has the right texture for the tactical shooter and I'm proud to say I can find little wrongwith it.
No doubt someone will not like it but don't listen to them get the game now.
Scarhurzt out.*beep*
Love being a Navy Seal
Another good game for me to play. The graphics are good and the flow and storyline are good too. I also like that you can drive vehicles so that you are not always running from site to site. Lets hope they produce some more of these type games.
