Excellent piece of kit
Used two of these together, works, never notice they are even there, no speed issues or anything else for that matter, just works.

Extension cable
This might work with another PC but it doesn't work for me. If I just use the extension cable my adapter came with then it works but nothing happens if I use this one.

Could be good for someone else but I'll be putting this on Ebay.

Does the job
A good product. I bought 6 of these and linked them together, with a USB memory stick on one end, to test the maximum distance (it was quiet in the office ;). I managed 4 without any read/write problems. The 5th was recognised but couldn't read any data. I tried the 6th and Windows Vista complained that the maximum number of USB hubs you can daisy chain is 5! So it might be worth noting that Windows sees the extension leads as USB hubs with only one active port (out of 4).

Anyway, we need these for peripherals on an exhibition stand while the PCs are hidden behind a false wall 10m away. They'll do the job nicely.
