Very poor.
I got this, transferred 900MB to it - it took about 10 hours. Large files transfer about 1MB/min but smaller files are much much much slower, overall it is unusable. The best thing about it is the neckstrap.
I then bought one from another make (dabs value range!). It copied the same files in about 20minutes oh and it's a tenner cheaper too - no neckstrap though so at least I can salvage something from the other purchase.
Obviously speed is a major issue with these things so it should be shown in the product page but it seldom is. Hopefully this will be helpful to others who follow.

God one, loved it
I have had my 8GB transcend USB key for a couple of months now, and have not had any issues with transfer speed. The drive is regularly emptied and refilled, and I've yet to have any problems with data corruption.

The reason I give it 4 out of 5 instead of full marks is because there is no lid. It's a slide-out USB connector, and though I've had no problems with it so far, bits and fluff could probably get in there!

Unusably slow
Nice idea, looks great, fantastic size. Unfortunately it's unusable, copying 600MB to it takes HOURS. Tried it on a Mac and a PC, tried formatting it as FAT32, Mac HFS+ etc etc, nothing helps. I've tried copying 600MB three times now using different formats and the speed is useless, my other USB drive (Kingston DataTraveller elite) does it in a fraction of the time (minutes rather than hours).
