Memory Card Reader Logic 35
Great product no problems what so ever with it, plugged straight in and worked had a lil bit of trouble gettin the ps2 memory card into the slot but as soon as it went in first time it was fine the rest.
great seller will use agian

Great Piece of Kit - But read below to find out why, before buying!3
This is a connection device that plugs into one of your PS3's usb ports at the front of the machine, and will enable you to save PS2 games on your PS3 as long as you still have a PS2 memory card. HOWEVER, this will only work on the PS3 60GB - which is no longer manufactured; the 40gb and the 80gb models aren't backwards compatible, so don't bother with this if you have one of those versions of the PS3! Save your money.
A lot of people claim on here that this adaptor doesn't work, and this is down to one major flaw. The Memory Card Adaptor doesn't come with any instructions at all, so if you are like me, that would mean that you should just be able to plug the thing in, slot in your ps2 memory card and off you go. No, no, NO! I did this and had no joy at all, and to all intents and purposes this made it look like the device didn't work. Before i was about to take the item back as faulty, i decided to read the PS3 instruction manual and therein lies the secret to this device. If you turn to page 20 of the instruction manual this will tell you exactly how to get it working properly. Within 5 minutes of reading through these instructions i was quite merrily playing a ps2 game, and was able to save it! Success!
Those of you who still have your instruction manual will be able to do this very easily, but what about those of you who don't? Well, i went onto the official Uk website for Sony and into the PS3 section to find an online manual, that shows the exact pages you will need. So, panic over!
I know a lot of people have returned this item as faulty to online stores and high street shops but you really must check this out first. I was going to give up and ask for my money back, but a little patience and investigation paid dividends.

So, the item itself. How would i rate it? Well, it does exactly what it says on the tin (to coin a phrase) so i can't fault it on that. What i have to fault it on though, is the lack of instructions. On no part of the packaging were there any guidelines as to what to do. I assumed that i just needed to plug it in and off i would go, but it took half an hour of tracking more instructions down to get on with it. I was expecting the usb ports to light up to show they were working, or a beep to show that the ps3 had recognised it, like on a pc but it didn't.
That is the reason i am only giving this item 3 stars. Yes it works perfectly, but the onus was on me to discover how to get it working, and that is pretty poor. Logic 3 could have just included a small pamphlet or sheet of paper to make my life a lot easier. Had they done this, i would have given this product the maximum 5 stars, but as it is i can only give it three. I dread to think how a young kid, or an inexperienced parent would have got on with this!

Hope this helps you. Now, i'm off to play those Ps2 classics.....................

Not adaptors fault.5
This adaptor is great if you have just upgraded to a 60GB version of the PS3. (You can play PS & PS2 games) Unfortunately if you have a memory card larger than 8MB then hopefully you kept the original 8MB card and didn't sell your PS2 before trying to copying the old saved games to the PS3. This is because the PS3 will only create an 8MB slot on it's hard drive, so you will have to use your old PS2 to copy the game save data to the 8MB card from the larger one and then create two card slots on the PS3 hard drive and then copy to those.
