cracked it
having been bombarded with HSM2 on Disney Channel & having 2 young kids who loved to sing along, i was really excited to find a singstar game that they could join in with. How disappointed we were on Christmas day when we couldn't get the songs we knew & "loved"! After several frustrating attempts at the game we put it away and forgot about it - until today. Unwilling to be beaten i finally manager to "unlock" the songs. Every time you sing you are awarded points and depending on the points, you either get to unlock characters &/or songs - I am writing this for all those of your who like me bought this & thought - why does it not tell you this in any part of the literature/blurb that goes along with the game! Perserverence is what it takes. as stated before - not great for a sing star game, particularly one aimed at kids but now we have it working....
Alot of Fun!
I have enjoyed both of the High School Musical movies and have wanted a singstar-type game to come out. You can unlock songs, clothes and settings if you are a good enough singer. Although this game is a little easier than singstar, and doesn't have the choice to listen back to what you have just sung, I LOVED IT! This is definitley worth the money and I am sure you and your children will be satisfied too.
This is no singstar
After enjoying most of the singstar type games for ps2, this game comes as a complete disappointment. Animated graphics and difficult set up make this an expensive and poor alternative to the real singstar games.
