Battlestations!4
This is the first game in the Battlestations series. It came out in 2007 and so far its done preety good i think.
You follow an American guy who is stationed at Pearl Harbour, and make your way through the ranks as well as killing alot of Japanese. The game ends at Midway, where the war starts to turn in your favour.

The graphics aren't that good, I have two pc's and the worse one only does low on video settings, although im guessing it doesn't look that good ethier on top Graphics - 6 1/2 out of 10

The strategy is better, since theres a map which you can use to change units, move and attack etc. The ships are good and you can get several attack options such as torpedoes and artillery etc. You can also get control of aircraft carrier, and that pretty cool as well.
Strategy - 8/10

The story in my opinion is the same old boring one, with you being the good guy, wanting most of the action, everything orderly. You have a pilot friend who dies about 4/5 of the way into the game etc. You do pick up some intresting facts though, and its not all text - there are lots of short movies.
Story - 5/10

Overall this game is pretty good, not suprises though although the only thing i really liked what the control of ships and strategy. Do not fear though, Eidos have come up with a really good sequel, Battlestations: Pacfic which allows you to play Japanese as well. They have also updated and improved combat, effects and the strategic map. This will be avaible on April 29th 2009. No date specificaly for Europe or America has been given. Anyway hope the new game is a good as it looks.
Overall Midway rating - 7/10
