Facing imminent danger, the Prince flees to a deserted kingdom that seemingly offers sanctuary. Already touched by the evil Corruption, a dark substance that physically contaminates the land and the skies, the kingdom is filled with adventure, challenge and intrigue. As the Prince seeks a way to fight the spreading Corruption destroying the land, he encounters a partially infected creature that promises salvation. But is the creature truly an ally or merely an enemy in disguise? It seems this perilous alliance may be the only way for the Prince to face the forces of darkness and save the Persian kingdom from the Corruption once and for all.

The epic journey continues in an all-new adventure:
Immerse yourself in the captivating Prince of Persia universe with an original and independent story that closely coincides with the action of the console & PC editions of the game.

Unique visual style:
Brand-new art design delivers incredible environments in over 50+ maps. Explore deserted cities, dark labyrinths and forbidding jungles to battle the evil Corruption.

Play as the all-new character: the Magus:
Switch between the Prince and this mysterious new ally to fight, solve puzzles and utilize his magical powers to make your way through the corrupted land.

A TRUE PRINCE AMONGST THIEVES!5
There is reason for gamers to rejoice this Holiday season: apparently draconian DRM schemes are on their way out. First BETHESDA stripes SecuROM to the bare minimum for FALLOUT 3; then DRM-free WORLD OF GOO (an indie game!) outperforms SPORE - a 45million flop; and finally, UBISOFT decides to walk the narrow yet honest path towards customer loyalty, by releasing a DRM-FREE game.

This was either a very recent decision (after all, not a month ago FAR CRY 2 came with a fully activated SecuROM 7.xx and Limited Installations) or it is an experiment: their executives wait to see if games do indeed sell good either with or without intrusive DRM.

Either way, WELL DONE UBISOFT!
I was one of the first to chastise their decisions to ruin good games with heavy-handed DRM schemes. It is only fair to be one of the first to congratulate them on a customer-first decision. And because talk is cheap, I bought my copy yesterday. I would advise anyone who would care to listen to vote with his or her wallet and support such a gutsy decision. Because it sure takes guts to go against the current and brake ranks with the other greedy game publishers. And, this time, the Canadians at UBISOFT MONTREAL proved they have brass ones.

The game itself is simplified fun. The graphics are clear and fresh in a retro way and the gameplay enjoys (or suffers, depending on your point of view) a number of assists that make it easier and flowing. Probably, too easy. You will not get the frustrations of repeated deaths but neither the satisfaction of finally making it through a hard boss.
I withheld one star because of the platform feeling (combos on a PC game always give me an awkward feeling as they are much easier with a gamepad - but that again, this is an action game, it is to be expected).
All in all, a good game that deserves our support.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

pc gamer? bad luck.1
while this game is good fun don't bother getting it for the PC, unless you like feeling cheated. I got this game for PC without knowing that the "real" ending had been reserved for the ps3 and xbox 360. This refusal of Ubisoft to release the "Epilogue" for the PC really spoiled my enjoyment of this otherwise good game. So until Ubisoft sees sense don't buy this game, for at least not on the PC.

Quality5
Great game, lots of fun, nice graphics and best of all its DRM free, no serials, no SECUROM, no CD required.
