Exceptional Headset
When I first started looking for a new headset, I wanted one that had a great microphone, as my older one was terrible.

Not only does the Carcharias have a great mic, it also has incredible sound. sound in games, music and chat through ventrilo all sound amazing and clear.

Its design is simple, but it has a few tricks up its sleeve, like the "Noise filtering microphone" which does wonders. Also the braided fibre cable is a great edition to the headset, as well as the in-line remote that allows you to control the volume while your in-game or to busy to go to the windows settings.

Brilliant headset, sleek and comfortable.

Not great for the price
This is the first item I have purchased from Razer, and to be honest it's not lived up to expectations. I have a pretty big head and the headset does not feel comfortable, my girlfriend who has a small head also tried it but felt uncomfortable as well. So maybe it's just medium sized head this headset fits :) If you look at the picture, the two pads are facing inwards rather than being parallel, and this creates stresses on the top of my jaw.

However even worse than the fit is the complete lack of bass. I plugged this into my Creative Xtreme Gamer sound card, and even cranking up the bass settings to the max I did not feel any "boom" at all. On the plus side the sound is very clear and crisp with good sense of direction when playing FPS games. The mic is also very clear.

As a conclusion, if you are thinking of buying this then I would really recommend going to your local electronics store and trying them beforehand to make sure they fit your head shape. And even if they did fit this product seems very very overpriced given its features (no light up LED's even!) - I would either go for a cheaper headset (like the Creative Fatal1ty series) or save up a bit more and get the Logitech G35's.
