10 volumes could not contain the full history of these beautiful islands yet this small book manages to detail so many facts, events and turns of fate that you feel you know it all. Although it moves with pace across the histories, sufficient details are provided to give the reader a sense of fulfillment. Full of fascinating information and written with a sincere feeling for the character, history and people of this wonderful place.
