Forget Grisham Make This Book The First Thing You Pack!!
Paperback version of the fantastic Seat 61 website - essential for anyone interested in travelling around Europe by train. Everything is laid out in an easy to read format and a lot of the leg work is done for you. Full of handy tips and advice and even suggestions for a quick meal whilst awaiting your connection. Fully deservesd 5 stars.
Essential and Inspirational
Absolutely everything you need to know about travelling by train in Europe - one of the most rewarding and under-rated experiences you can ever hope to have. Leave the budget airlines in the sky, pack an inter-rail pass, a Thomas Cook rail map, and a copy of Mark Smith's book; then climb aboard to explore a continent and its people on the rails.
Full of good ideas
Lots of ideas on how to take trains and get to places. Have started to use it for travels, and am now taking much more civilised trips..... with the added bonus that you have no airport hassles, travel greener, take as much whisky and toothpaste as you like, and see the countryside! Read it and be inspired. It can work out just as cheap as air travel!
