EVERYBODY , MALE OR FEMALE SHOULD HAVE A COPY OF THIS IN THE HOUSE, ITS JUST LIKE A BOOK THAT EVERYBODYS GRANNY WOULD OF PASSSED DOWN THE FAMILY, FULL OF WISE WORDS AND TIPS. AND FUNNY TOO, ITS A RAL QUALITY ITEM WITHA GREAT FEEL TO IT, YET IT REALLY LOOKS OLD AND ATHENTIC, I LOVE IT SO MUCH I HAVE BOUGHT A FEW TO GIVE AS XMAS PRESENTS. HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

memories from Scotland
I loved this little book, as soon as it arrived my westie had already taken a bite out of it(just to give it a used look).I flicked through and memories of my childhood with my Nana in Scotland came flooding back I even rembered her using some of them, which I had long forgotten. This gave me lots of things to think about, if you have a connection and are away from Scotland for a while, or know someone who has connections this would be a great present at any time. I loved it and would buy this as a present just for the memories which would have been lost a great little book well worth the money.

A wee treat
This is a pretty book, done out like an old school book covered with a 'piece of wallpaper' as our school jotters had to covered and only posh people seemed to have brown paper, the rest made do with whatever.
It has tips on everything from removing a skelf to making a face pack. It is 'handwritten' with little cut out adverts for various remedies and makes for a bonnie gift.
Whether you follow the tips or just like leafing through it there is plenty to amuse and make you think.
