Canon or Jessops?
When I bought the EOS350D I also bought a Jessops spare battery - out of the two, the canon has completely died on me (no power, the recharger goes green after 20 seconds, but there is still no power) - the jessops one is still going strong. At 3 times the cost - I'll be buying a compatible one.

p.s. the camera is fantastic.

A good battery but a little bit expensive and on the low capacity side
With digital two batteries is a minimum. It is a decent battery (do not buy a generic one) but Canon could have provided a more powerful one for the 400D right away, considering the premium you need to pay for an original one.

Canon nb-2lh Battery Pack
Ordered this item on Thursday 20th Sept 2007 after lunch and received order in one piece on Friday 21st Sept 2007. Was not expecting the order till Monday 24th Sept 2007 but what a result having it early so that I can now happily charge up the new battery and take lots of pics with my new Canon EOS 400D camera.

A brilliant service yet again from Amazon.
