Some stunning photos inside
I recieved this book today having spotted the first one last year as I was ordering the Landscape Photographer of the Year book (I also get the Wildlife Photographer of the Year books each year...love a good photo !) I was a little worried looking at the first 20 pages or so, the first few photos were okay but I didn't think they were exceptional (no disrespect to the photographers, at least they submitted pics unlike me lazy sod that I am!) but then...bam...bags of fantastic photos. Many of the pictures of animals / insects would have an excellent chance of getting into the Wildlife Photographer of the Year book. There are many technically brilliant photos in here but you certainly don't have to be into photography to appreciate this book. It's a cheesy phrase, but I'm going to use it, this is an excellent "coffee table" book...definately one to share!
