Good value
It's a bit short on the touch 3g, which has the same dimensions as the 2nd gen, so there's ~2mm that it doesn't protect on the top if you align the menu button hole with the menu button, it also doesn't fully go out to the sides and edges, but the screen itself is nicely protected. I also tested it above the display with a mildly sharp object and it scratched pretty easily, but it seems tough enough for everyday use. You do get two totally transparent protectors and a cloth so for this price it's a good deal.

These skins are good at protecting the face of your iPod touch/iPhone, however the slight problem that i found whilst putting the screen on was that the plastic did have a few bubbles in it after i had attached it to the iPod, even though I was cautious whilst putting it on and didn't expect any bubbles. However this cannot be blamed on the product. I would advise these for any iPod even if you have a case, just as an extra protective layer for your iPod's screen.

Cheap, but slightly oversized
The material it is made out of is reassuringly thick and sticks on easily.

*however* it is slightly to long for my 1st gen itouch, maybe a couple of mm. You might have to chop the top off.
