Belkin 6 Socket SurgeMaster
Having recently purchased a new computer with a Broadband connection, I wanted to ensure my equipment was protected and decided to purchase the 6 Socket SurgeMaster from Belkin. The unit itself is very well designed with colour coded LED's and two of the six sockets with a swivel function. This is extremely useful when plugging in bulky modem power supplies. The unit has sockets for your modem connection and therefore provides even more security from spikes or power surges. With an automatic £100,000 equipment protection warranty, you can be safe in the knowledge that your equipment is safe. Belkin is the market leader for these products and Amazon had one of the lowest prices all round. Highly recommended product.
it does what it says
ok now to fully test this i guess you need to be struck by lightning. but to be fair my computer psu did blow out before i had this and it was down to a "surge" apparently, so since ive had this no problems.if you use your p.c. a lot buy one, sometimes its hard to tell what caused your p.c. to go down, so this will cross off one cause. plus theres like 6 plugs so its handy for your computer.
Does what it says
It works brilliantly i never realised the need for rotating sockets untill i bought this, now i realise just how useful that they are. It works brilliantly cut out the power to my pc during the last storm we had! a great product i will definatly buy another for my hi-fi and TV.
