so simple
This is digital photography at its easiest so that even a sixty something technophobe can use it even if I did have to get my son to install the software. I heartedly recommend this for any one who wants to finally bin the clockwork camera.
Very Reliable
I have had my Easyshare Series 3 printer dock for over a year now and it is still functioning extremely well.
I originally bought the dock to work alongside my Kodak Z740 and from the very start could see that it was a very simple and impressive piece of equipment. I found that i could use it instead of the USB cable-(can all get a bit fiddly at times) when uploading all my pictures on to my computer-(some fantastic software provided with Kodak digital cameras to help store and edit your photos... very simple...easy to use) and could make room on the SD card by deleting them off of the camera afterwards. You are given the choice to either print the pictures you take straight off of the camera by simply sitting the camera into the dock, or through your PC which means that you could also print off images from another device, (as long as they have been stored on your pc) which I have personally found very useful.
I recently upgraded to a digital SLR camera, (Cannon EOS 400D) and was concerned that because it had double the pixels my old camera did, I would have to buy a new printer to go along with it, but no, the pictures still come out in great quality (even if it does take a little longer) All I had to do was plug the USB cable from my 400D into the side of the dock.
I have also found that the printer paper is of a very good qaulity also, and can be purchased in large quantities at a good price if bought off of Amazon.
All in all, I would say that this printer is very good value for what it is capable of and is also a vital item for any amateur digital photographer.
Good Beginners Camera
I brought this camera a few months ago, and its been well used now! Its small, easy and totally uncomplicated, even hubby can use it.
The printer doc is straight forward and does charge the camera.
The only down fall is, its great for close shot, if you want distance, then this is not the camera for you. but if you wanna camera to have fun on hols or snaps of your kids etc..... its perfect.
Also, if you shop around the replacment cartridges and photo paper can be got hold of at very reasonable prices.
