Everyone should read this book!5
Rory and Kim have done it again! It's another great publication from these two! Yes, the book is encouraging everyone who reads it to become vegan. But even if you don't, you can still improve your health by coming to terms with where our food really comes from and making better food choices for vitality and longevity. I can not recommend this book highly enough. It is fabulous and every man out there needs to buy it, read it and become the healthiest version of themselves. I read Skinny Bitch in January 2009 and it has changed my life for the better. I now eat a vegan diet and feel a million times better in addition to losing 35 lbs. Thank you Kim and Rory!!!!

A healthy living Bible5
This is a brilliant, must-read resource for anybody who feels like they're cheating themselves out of health and need a real kick up the behind to get themselves on the right track.

Ideal for people who are already vegan and pretty clean living, to the drinkers, smokers and junk-food eaters alike. This is a crash course in how to get yourself clean and in shape.

The criticisms I've read say that if your partner has Skinny Bitch, don't bother with this, but I still would as some parts are pretty particular to male-exclusive health (if you catch my drift). Some of the foods listed might be difficult to obtain in the UK, but I think with a tiny amount of common sense you could work out how to find the equivalents we have available.

This has definitely had a big impact on my life and made me commit to lifelong changes, which are already making me feel brilliant. Go for it, embrace the change, and make this your handbook.

Has changed me for good.5
Yes, the book shows the benefit of a vegan based lifestyle, which may be a step too far for some. BUT I have personally made significant health gains through adopting a subset of the suggestions in here. It's written in a punchy style, (Think Trinny and Susannah do dieting with a hint of Gillian McKeith), but is very readable - and the bit about milk is enough to turn most people off dairy products...

For an 'easy read' book it has a lot of pages at the back devoted to references - given that most of these are online a lt of paper could have been saved by pointing at a page on the publishers site and linking from there. The book is written for an American audience, even though the price is in UK pounds on the back, and one thing that does need changing is the list of foods, the majority of which are not available here in the UK. (At least not in deepest Hampshire!)

Overall - for me, very useful and as I say, have made some life long changes to my diet having read it. Recommended.
