Utter brilliance5
If you have kids, YOU NEED THIS BOOK ! Kids are complex little beings and this book is the closest thing you will get to an instruction manual for them. I read it and many times came across pages that made me go 'ah ... that makes total sense. I didn't realise that' because as adults we forget that to a kid things are black and white, with very little grey. They can challenge you to the core, and test your marriage beyond all recognition and without some understanding about what makes them tick you are going to lost in the tidal wave of kiddy dominance. Once toddlers become old enough to try and bargain, fight with their peers and siblings for anything and everything, and push the boundaries of acceptable behaviour in their pursuit of independence we need to understand that at the very core, all they truly want is our unconditional love and attention. The author is funny and very personable. This is a fantastic read and before you know it you will be recommending it to all your mates too !
