Trash pop at its best (or worse)
One of those few "deserved" wins in Eurovision happened in 1998. And it was very, very close (5th closest victory in ESC history) with Malta leading until the last country to vote, Macedonia, decided to award Malta 0 and Dana 8 points which left Chiara from Malta losing two places in the finish, also leading to UK's 15th runner-up position!
The talk of the year was of course Dana from Israel mainly because she was he many years prior to the contest. But, on tzhe other hand, no one was willing to deny the power of this 3 minute dance trash with instant appeal. Surprisingly, UK gave Dana only 5 points (although televote would be entirely different) but the music-buying public responded well and the single went #11, agonizingly close to a top 10 entry.
To sum it up, this is probably the best Eurovision winner in many years and it does resemble Sertab's 2003 winner which didn't sell nearly as well.

A great winner. I actually prefer the Hebrew version to the English one. Good to listen to when you're feeling a bit down.

tracklisting/ i don't rate this at all cause i think it's very decieving!
How can Diva [CD1] have the same tracklisting as Diva [CD2]? please dont tell me they do cause i've seen the cd's in the past!!!
