Customer Reviews

Praise for Alan Beith and A View from the North5
Alan Beith is a highly respected Honorary Gentleman whose autobiography is a most interesting and enjoyable read. As a fellow Methodist Lay Preacher I was most interested to read how his faith as a Christian has influenced him in his career as a parliamentarian. As a Liberal Democrat he is a credit to the party, but also respected by other parties at Westminster. As a Cornishman it was good to read about other Cornish Christians in Parliament, especially John Pardoe and David Penhaligon. I was particularly pleased and interested to know about the architectural heritage of chapels, not only in the North of England but also in other parts of the country.
