Editorial Reviews
From the Publisher
Long considered the most authoritative work on Chinese medicine, this book has already sold more than 40,000 copies in the UK alone. Now revised and expanded by the author, who is associate director of the Center for Alternative Medicine Research and Education at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, it is an invaluable reference source. ‘While the book’s rich detail makes it of great use to practicing healers, it is in its entirety very simply written, enjoyable reading for the layman … An instructive, profound and important work’ Professor Martin Schwartz, University of California, Berkeley
Customer Reviews
The Classic Chinese Medicine Book
Not too technical, despite its depth, and easy to dip in to if you are just an enthusiast, but also great if you plan on practicing any of the related chinese medicines.
A must have
I found this book impressively written. Kaptchuk has put alot of work into it and it shows. Invaluable read for anyone studying TCM.
