Searling Has Midas Touch
The year 2003 was ano0ther brilliant one for soul music and this album encapsulates all that was best. Richard Searling has lovingly put together 15 top tracks and there\s something for everyone, from Jean Carne whipping up a storm on Niteflyte's irresistible dancer If You Believe In Love, to the Northern-style stomper Breakaway, by the Frank Popp Ensemble.
Personal favourites? The opening track, Nothing Like It, by Tower of Power is awesome, track three, Give It Up by Impromp2 is top drawer too and for lovers of mid-tempo dancers, you'll be hard-pressed to hear anything better than Denise Tichenor's There's No Me Without You.
A blinding collection offering superb value for money.
