Another triumph compilation5
Got a disco connection? Check this one out and get sorted! The genius compilers at Warner UK move way beyond the obvious here -- digging through some late 70s and early 80s LPs to come up with a range of club tracks that never really got their due the first time around, and which really sparkle with the best funky dancefloor sound that's been burning up the current disco revival scene! Many of the artists in the package may be familiar, but many of the tracks are lesser-known numbers that step out with a freshness that we really like -- and which make for one very nicely grooving set! 12 tracks in all -- all nice and long -- with titles that include "Everybody Loves A Good Thing" by Phreek, "Cosmic Lust (12" mix)" by Mass Production, "Hi Jack" by Herbie Mann, "Bourgie Bourgie (12" mix)" by Ashford & Simpson, "I Wanna Take You There" by Gino Soccio, "It Looks Like Love" by Goody Good, "I Know You I Live You" by Chaka Khan, "He's The Greatest Dancer" by Sister Sledge, "Why Leave Us Alone (long 12" mix)" by Five Special, and "That's Where The Happy People Go" by The Trammps

nice compilations, but what about the following tracks out of your vaults;
Ben E King - Music Trance (12" version)
Yvonne Gage - Garden Of Eve (12" version)
Jimmy Castor Bunch - Don't Do That (12" version)
Margie Joseph - Prophecy (12" version)
Mighty Fire - Love Fantasy (12" version/album version)
There are so many good 12"es from the period 1975 - 1985 out of the vaults from Warner, Elektra & Atlantic of which many didn't appear on cd yet, so there's a nice job for the compilers of this series.

More great Disco5
Recommended compilation of quality Disco. Makes a great companion to Volume 1. Very good sound quality - if you like / love Disco a worthy addition to your collection or an excellent start to one!
