That velvet voice
This cd cntains Teddy Pendergrass first 2 solo albums from 1977 and 78 respectively. Demon records in the u.k continue their onslaught of releasing the majority of the old Philedelphia international records recordings on 2 for 1 cd's like this. Ive got teddys greatest hits but that cd missed out quite a few gems which can be found here,most notbaly "You cant hide from yourself" a real tour de force Gamble and Huff written stormer and another Gamble an Huff penned track "When somebody loves you" which ive heard sampled by rnb/hip hop acts a couple of times. Also of note are "Somebody Told me" and "Easy Easy got to take it easy" written by the Gene Mcfadden/John Whitehead of McFadden and Whitehead fame. For this price there should be no excuses..sit back relax and enjoy !
