classy
These 2 o'jays albums date back from 1976/77. Edsel records in the u.k have been re-releasing most of the original philidelphia international records albums. If you have the best of the o'jays and think you have all the classics..you may want to think again. Theres loads of tracks spread out over the reissue lp's and this one is no different..apart from clasics like Darlin Darlin baby, tracks like the gamble and huff penned "Paradise" and the bunny sigler penned "I swear no one but you" (Which has recently been sampled mby mary j blige on her new cd)would be worthy of any greatest hits compo. there are several others including a pair of very funky McFadden and whitehead penned tracks too. ..classy soul music which knocks the socks of the pretenders around today.
