Modern soul
This is my first purchase of a "Soul Togetherness" album and there have been countless ones previously over the years!
Modern soul is a genre that has sprung up and some tracks feel to me how new northern soul would be. On this album Karl frierson's "Ten Minutes " is superb along with Wahoo, Tuomo, Darlene mccoy, and the Deliciously laid back, chilled out Tassel & Naturel's "Let Love shine" along side our old friend Billy Griffin and "Romantic number" This CD has not yet left my Player or i-pod.
I would recommend this album - no problem, I now have to go back over the last 5 years of this series to see what ive ben missing!!

Another quality yearly compilation from Soul Togetherness. In Particular excellent cuts from Wahoo,Tassel,Seven ,Karl Frierson,Rena Scott and Norman Hutchins(great uplifting gospel). If you like modern soul then this is a sure bet. I loved this and Soul Togetherness 2006 and 2008.
