Pure soul heaven
It is amazing that from rather modest finnish soul scene suddenly appeared this young man with a style of his own. Tuomo is Curtis Mayfield of this era. Every truly soul fan should have this record.
finnlad's got the groove
I had the exact same thought when I was first introduced to this bloke: curstis mayfield's got a younger brother! seriously, this is wonderfully groovy and soulful music by a very promising artist. this album ist full of different influences from several decades of soulmusic.though its hard to point out hightlights, my personal favourites are "don't take it too hard" (there you go, curtis) "my thing" and "what I'm like"
Now, don't go picking single tunes, go and get the album!
the next one is up to come this year.
