Very limited reissue and immediately out of print... DON'T MISS!!!!!.
With the original and ultra rare 2002 Japan release on BMG Japan, much sought after over the last couple years and changing hands for £60 plus. This classic modern soul album from Michael Wycoff, is available for the SECOND time by the Japanese (Who else!!!), as a special limited edition mini LP CD. (To the unitiated this means) the CD sleeve artwork is the exact mini replica of the original LP sleeve, including original sleeve notes and song lyrics in english. They are produced in VERY limited quantities and tend to go out of print VERY VERY quickly. Japanese CD's are revered for superb sound quality and this CD is 24 bit remastered. As far as the music is concerned the previous review says it all. Don't miss this now, only to pay FAR more later. IT'S A FABULOUS PACKAGE!!!
'Classic Hard-To-Find Album Finally Gets A Release'
Michael Wycoff is one of my all time favourite artists. BITTERLY under-rated and under-appreciated, the man is a genius! 'Love Conquers All' was the second of his three albums and includes the much sampled two step classic 'Looking Up To You'. Aside from that collectible, there are also a couple of good 80's dancers here in the shape of opener, 'Still Got The Magic (Sweet Delight)' and 'Diamond Real'. Both songs should have been bigger at the time and will delight those into 80's funk looking for new area's/artists to explore. Wycoff's vocals are simply sublime throughout this album and the title track, 'Take This Chance Again' and 'Love Is So Easy' see the man at his soulful and slightly jazzy best. Add to all this a killer slowie in 'It's Over' and a good duet with Evelyn King 'Can We Be Friends' and you have one classic record. Get in quickly with this as it is a limited release and comes in a mini replica sleeve of the original album cover. If you can find them, Wycoff's other two albums 'Come To My World' (his best album of all) and 'On The Line' are also well worth getting. Listen, learn and ENJOY!
