this is sad!
Ashford & Simpson went to WB after running a hit streak as inhouse writers, and producers with Motown I have hoped in vain that Rhino would give them a lovingly put together 4 disc box set because the great wealth of classy soul they cut with WB really deserves it instead we have a remixed job that also claims to be rarities too I couldn't find any! If only I was let loose to put together a real compilation of their work if the aim of this set is the dance crowd how come there isn't 'Flashback'it was issued as a remixed 12" back in the day this set for me is sad but it's good to get some release out of WB.
