Praise for '!startled by his furry shorts!': 'Totally hilarious' Shout 'It's an excellent book and I'm dying to know what happens next.' Sugar "Laugh out loud funny." Waterstones Books Quarterly Praise for '!then he ate my boy entrancers.': "You'll be falling about laughing at this.' Mizz 'The only snag about taking this on holiday is that it won't last long: it will be consumed without a break except for the snorting noises. But it can always be passed on to parents by any youngster who can stand the sound of Vati's and Mutti's snorts, or dipped into repeatedly because every line is vair vair funny.' Sunday Times Praise for '!and that's when it fell off in my hand.': 'Readers will find themselves laughing uncontrollably until their sides hurt, and won't be able to put the book down.' Sunday Times 'Hilarious! [Louise Rennison] is queen of the pink-book pack.' The Times Praise for 'Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging': 'Bridget Jones for teenagers -- but funnier. Expect Potter-esque queues for the sequel.' Sunday Telegraph 'Don't miss this gem' Guardian
About the Author
Louise Rennison lives in Brighton, a place that she likes to think of as the San Francisco of the south coast. Which is sad as it is nothing like San Francisco, being mainly pebbles and large people in tiny swimming knickers who have gone bright red in the sun. Although she lives in Brighton in reality, in her mind she lives somewhere exotic with a manservant called Juan.
Customer Reviews
Great book for Georgia fans (:
My friends and I all bought copies of this when it came out a few months back and, well, we all love it! As a fan of the earlier books in the Georgia Nicolson series, I definitely recommend buying this book as it is as good as the other books in the series and gives great advice for teenage girls like me about all kinds of things related to the stuff we like to read and think about. I carry it around in my bag pretty much always and it never gets boring to read. If you like the series and the stuff Georgia talks/complains about, you'll definitely love Georgia's Book of Wisdomosity!
Teenagers
I purchased this book for my 14 year old grandaughter as she raves about this author. Haven't managed to get a look in yet, proof of this books attraction.
Book of Wisdomosity
I thought this book book was a bit of a non-event, but my 15 year old daughter liked it, and I suppose as it was for her, thats what matters.
