The Slugger is a low cut casual shoe with a leather upper and a rippled rubber sole We are proud to inform you that Goliath has a rich history. It dates back all the way to 1937. One sunny day in 1937, Sir van Amersfoort from Tilbury, Holland, decides to open a sports shoe factory in his town. He wanted to provide excellent sports shoes for the people in his town. A lot of Dutch people played soccer for fun to pass their winter days and cricket to pass their springs and their summers. These days the Goliath team is enthusiastic to follow the footsteps of old Sir van Amersfoort.
