Over priced rubbish
The first split within 3 months and the second pair is now also faulty. As they are about the most expensive and supposidly most durable boot available I think their claims are marketing spin. My experience of two pairs is that they are very poor quality and unlikely to last 6 months. Dont buy them - look elsewhere.

Cracking little beauties!
Can't really fault these boots, i normally have Brashers but wanted something a bit more durable!
A good buy but make sure you wear them in before any long hike as they are thick leather!

Great boots for Munro hiking and dog walking
I've owned my pair of Burma's for about five years and have used it for a variety of purposes from my daily dog walk in the country side, to hikes up Munro's (large Scottish mountains). They have lasted well and are very comfortable and strong. In the winter it keeps my feet warm and it's grippy enough to keep me from slipping, whilst in the summer my feet don't seem to sweat too much.

To prolong it's life you need to wash of the mud and give it a once over with wax every now and then otherwise it can start to crack but that will happen to most non-synthetic boots.
