With an aggressively lugged outsole and a secure to-the-toe toggle lacing your kid's feet will stay connected to the trail and held tight in the shoes. The Pup shoe also features a durable cow suede upper and contain up to 30% recycled rubber in the midsole/outsole and 15% recycled EVA in the insoles. A 6.6mm nylon arch shank and Strobel construction add to the shoes support and comfort. - All Patagonia Kids Footwear are made using Recycled Rubber. They recycle rubber off the factory room floor that was cut away from a moulded piece (flashing). Flashing is the excess rubber that squeezes out between the parts of the mould when compressed. Their 20% recycled rubber outsoles perform great and tread lightly.
