Looks can be deceiving
Judging from solely the exterior, the shoes certainly look and feel like a high-quality product; they're really quite nice and feel solid. After several weeks of use I feel that I can safely say that the problem is wearing them in the city. The cushioning on the bottom is really too thin and can get to be quite uncomfortable when walking on sidewalks for over thirty minutes at a time.

As for their use in hiking, walking up trails and through the grass poses none of the previous problems. I plan on going on using them extensively in the near future as I have a few hiking trips planned, but make sure that you don't start up a game of basketball while wearing them.

Karrimore Summit
Supremely comfortable shoe for relatively light walking, but would recommend that you purchase a pair that is a half size larger than usual. I'm usually a 10, but was right in the end of these shoes, 10.5 is perfect.

Only real problem is that they are not waterproof (I realise that they are not advertised as such) and become soaked after walking through wet grass. For the casual, fair-weather walker, it's like wearing a pair of slippers! By the way, they are currently available in-store at Sports Direct for £20.99!

Bought as a replacement pair for a well used pair now beginning to wear out, I would never have been able to find them over the counter as they are now end-of-line. I knew they'd be good as have had them before, and the speed of delivery was outstanding! And for a reduced price as few left, this must make them sale of the year!!
